How to Take Care of  Eyes

Your eyes are the most attractive features of your face. They are more than just a visual organ that helps you see the world. They smile, laugh, cry, when words fail, our eyes express our feelings and thoughts beautifully. Therefore, protecting your vision is one of the most important things in maintaining the quality of your life.

Due to the lock-down, we are always doing something on electronics gadgets to overcome our boredom. Sometimes they watch their favorite web series, sometimes they do office work on a computer. In such a situation it has a bad effect on our eyes. Excess use of mobiles and exposure to digital devices pose a greater risk to the eyes. Blue rays emanating from electronic devices can spoil our eyes

But unfortunately, most people don't think about their eyes as much as they pay attention to their faces. Also, our strenuous lifestyle, toxic environment and improper diet make things worse. Because of all these things, wrinkles, dark circles, facial swelling etc. have become common problems nowadays. In addition, the risk of vision loss also increases with age.

Taking care of your eyes, like your skin and face, will ensure that you always look and feel your best. This will help protect against age-related diseases such as rash degeneration, cataract, diabetic retinopathy, cataract etc.

How to Take Care of  Eyes

To protect your eyesight and keep your eyes healthy, follow these simple steps:

1:- Suitable diet:

A good eye care starts with the right diet. A diet rich in vitamins C and E, zinc, lutein, omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants is very beneficial for your eyes and can help avoid age-related eye problems. Include foods such as carrots, beets, oranges and green leafy vegetables in your regular diet. Foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids such as salmon and tuna are very effective in reducing dangerous macular degeneration. Antioxidants may reduce the risk of cataract.

2 :- Protection from UV light:

Sunglasses prevent retinal damage. They also protect the delicate skin of the eyelid to prevent wrinkles and skin cancer. They can help reduce the risk of eye-related problems such as cataracts, pinguculas and rashes. Wear good quality sunglasses that block UV rays up to 99–100%.

3 :- Quit Smoking:

Tobacco smoking is directly associated with several adverse health effects including eye problems. Smokers are also at high risk of developing cataracts and macular degeneration. This can cause optic nerve damage, which can also lead to blindness.

4 :- Give Your Eyes Proper Rest:

Your eyes also need rest like you. Avoid or minimize strenuous activities such as staring at a computer or phone screen for too long. This can cause tension in your eyes and can cause problems like blurred vision, dry eyes, headaches etc.

In addition, you can use home remedies, such as placing cucumber slices on the eyes, to enhance the relaxation process.

5 :- Get regular eye checkups:

In addition to making sure your drug digestion is updated for glasses or contact lenses, regular eye checkups are necessary to maintain eye health. Most of the serious eye conditions such as cataract and AMD can be treated easily and successfully, if diagnosed and treated quickly. If left untreated, these diseases can cause severe vision loss and blindness.

In addition, a comprehensive eye examination, including dilating the pupil of the eye, can help detect eye diseases that often provide no warning, such as glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration.

6 :- Use good lenses and glasses

If you apply glasses or lenses, use glasses with better quality. Use better quality lenses or wear anti-glare glasses only. Do not use poor quality lenses in a cheap affair. Whenever sitting in front of the screen for over an hour, blink the eyelids slowly to avoid dry eyes.

 7 :- Make-up product selection carefully

Always buy makeup products from a reliable shop. Makeup products used in the eyes cause harm if they are of poor quality. If out in the sun, use sunglasses to avoid ultra violet rays of dust and sunlight.
